Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of Chicago
The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of Chicago is a non-profit umbrella organization of other Indian Associations in the Chicago land and Mid-West representing in excess of 300,000 culturally diverse but united together Asian-Indians. The FIA Chicago represents and connects various issues of growing Asian-Indian community at the Local, State, and National platform within USA and overseas with Indian Government. FIA Chicago celebrates various events that bring together all Asian-Indian for Indian Republic Day, Indian Independence Day and Diwali.
The FIA Chicago, in cooperation with the other Associations have successfully worked with various local, State and National agencies to protect the interest Asian-Indian in the fields of Immigration, Social Welfare and Business Commercial Interest.
As a requirement of the non-profit and by-laws, annually election are held. All activities are planned, discussed and implemented by strong Board of Directors. The FIA appreciates this support and encourages more people to participate. FIA Chicago is your one strong voice organization willing to listen to your concerns, issues to represent and support you.
