Biography:

Thank you for the nomination. My husband Sandeep and I will be celebrating four years this year. We are simple, yet a strong couple. A couple that stands by each other but still respects their own individual space. My husband is in the restaurant line of business and I am in the financial industry.

Why should we picked as best couple? This is a tough question to answer.

In many ways we are like every other couple, in that we have been given a chance to be with each other as companions and lovers. Fortunate to have found one another. We are a simple, yet strong couple. A couple that stands by each other but still respects their own individual space. Irrespective of who we are, we stand by each other even when times are at their toughest. And even at only four years of marriage, we’ve seen some difficult moments that have truly tested the strength of our relationship. As a father and step mother of two teenagers, those tests have been more abundant lately. But our love and family values have helped us prevail over any obstacles that have come our way thus far.

We are a true example of the vow, “stand by you through the thick and thin”.

We both like helping people, and strive to do so in every way we can when we can. Whether it’s through volunteering or simply lending a shoulder to lean on when needed.

We support each other with our endeavors. We have a single vision of our future but different views of getting there, and that’s okay. Because compromise and understanding are attributes we both share and value.

We are that couple who believes in togetherness no matter what the situation, and that will never change.

Being chosen to accept this award would be a blessing beyond belief, but having been nominated is an honor and already a reward in itself.
